One of the filmers for the shop video has produced this little film: Explained below...

I have directed this short film to demonstrate a narrative; this is, to attempt to display the transition of me living in London and now Bristol and how I feel at home in both situations and environments. With different scenes in order of my typical daily routines, I am going to get the train to London and film myself riding my skateboard, which is a big part of my life, and then I will suddenly but subtlety be riding it in Bristol all the time filming myself and my journey in reflection and shadow, to demonstrate the way that i see myself in a physical sense.

West Ealing skate park meeting

Here is some advance notice about the upcoming meeting for West Ealing's skatepark. It is important that there is large turnout, the more the better as this will help to get things moving!

It will be held on Thursday 24th September, 7-9pm. Oaklands Primary School, Oaklands Avenue W7.

A few changes here at Three Amigos, good friends ours Faye Suzannah and Helen have started painting the outside of the shop with Mexican sugar skulls and it looks banging! When Faye gets back from holiday in Portugal she'll be adding some colour to the skulls to make them even more powerful!

Along with the paintings we've been acquiring a larger selection of products in the shop such as coloured Independent and Venture trucks, FRESH SANTA CRUZ t shirts you'd better grab them quick whilst they last with really good, large print Jim Phillips graphics all over them!

Kev headed to Bournemouth for a session last weekend and met up with a couple of pals and shot a couple of photos.

Cantelowes Fun Day

Is this Saturday August 8th.

So far we will have a best trick comp down the flat bank, over the big hip in the street course, a bowl jam as well as a game of S.K.A.T.E.

There'll be several pro riders there on the day who'll all be ripping it up plus competitions for unsponsored skaters so everybody can get stuck in!

The game of S.K.A.T.E. will be limited to 16 people, it will be £2 to enter and the winner will take £30, 2nd place will get £20 and there'll be a 3rd place play off for £10. We're taking people's names down now so if you're keen to enter give Kev a shout a.s.a.p. to get your placed secured!

So far the sponsors are Vans, Heroin, Gyppo Army, Rock Solid distribution, Death, Crossfire, Love & Skate and us at the shop obviously!

Keep your eyes peeled for updates and make sure to spread the word!

We now have an account on Ebay where you can find all off our items for sale, so you can now buy online at a decent price from a skater owned shop if you live in a small town or find it hard to visit the shop as opposed to a high street store or somebody trying to make a quick buck!

Street cruisers and cool colours

Ok,so we all know we don't live in L.A. and that the pavements in London can be challenging.This has prompted the Amigos to set up some cruising boards for getting round and about.The scaled up size and soft wheels mean even the roughest roads can be ridden.With one of these,along with your regular sled,there is no need to ever put your feet on the ground.
We also talked about the shop being painted and the signage a few weeks back,so here are some pictures.

Cantelowes fun day

We're going to be putting on a fun day at Cantelowes skatepark on Saturday August 8th from 2pm onwards so make sure to head on down for some serious action.

We're rounding up the sponsors at the moment but there'll be best tricks going on all day for all different age groups as well as a game of skate for £££ at the end of the day!

Keep tuned and tell all of your mates, mother, father, brother, sister, auntie, uncle, grandmother and so on!

Some of our shop riders have been having it lately.

Tim Miguel is over in Estonia for a couple of months enjoying the fine weather whilst it has been raining over here and filmed a little clip for us

Alex Lally also came 3rd place in the over 16s UKSA unsponsored "Young Guns" competition in Corby last weekend, the boy's doing good!

Opening party/Black Label premiere

We've finally got around to organising it, our opening party is going to be held at Ziegfrieds nightclub in Hoxton Square (East London) on Thursday, August 6th from 9pm onwards.

We'll be holding the only London premiere to "God save the Label", Black Label's latest video at the same venue at 10pm.

Those are the rough details, I'll post up more information/a flyer up here when we get it!

Shop riders Kev, Aaron, Marcus and Alex Lally went to Marseilles last week for the bowlriders last week.

Aaron and Kev got 13th and 12th, not really the best placings but better than a kick up the arse!

Hopefully we'll have some footage of the trip soon.

Some of you will have noticed that we now have a shiny new shop sign above our windows.Big thanks go out to Big Neil,Chingfords finest,without whom etc....
From this day forward you are an honourary Amigo.
We are also pleased to announce that after much frustration we have finally received our Vans shoe order.If you would like to slip into every skaters shoe of choice,get in quick as they are selling like hot tamales.
The Creature stuff seems to be flying out the door,along with the Powell and Thrasher shirts.My personal favourite has to be the Creature brew killer,complete with built in bottle opener.
As usual,new stock is coming in every week,faster than I can update this blog,so pop in or give us a call to find out whats new,or to suggest getting in something that we don't already stock.
